alkie AI — an interactive AI character platform

I worked on a project inspired by Talkie AI — an interactive AI character platform where users engage in real-time conversations with virtual personalities. The goal was to build a scalable chat-based system that supports dynamic user interactions and personalized experiences. Using Bubble.io, I developed responsive chat interfaces, user profiles, and content-driven flows similar to modern AI companion apps. I integrated Stripe for subscription-based access and connected AI APIs to power conversational responses and character logic. A key challenge was handling real-time interactions and maintaining performance at scale. I solved this by optimizing workflows and structuring efficient backend processes.
