Candy AI — an AI companion platform

I worked on a project inspired by Candy AI — an AI companion platform where users create and interact with personalized virtual characters. The goal was to build a highly engaging system that supports real-time conversations, character customization, and emotional interaction. Using Bubble.io, I developed dynamic chat interfaces, user profiles, and content-driven flows similar to modern AI companion platforms that adapt to user behavior over time. I integrated Stripe for subscription billing and connected AI APIs for conversational logic, voice interaction, and image generation. A key challenge was maintaining realistic, context-aware conversations. I solved this by structuring backend workflows and optimizing memory-based responses. The result was a scalable AI companion platform MVP. Estimated project value: $8,900.
